Ok, if someone ejects from a ship and you kill it, you still get a killmail. So either check your combat log better, or stop lying. On a side note, ppl who eject from T3s before dying, do it so they don't lose SP.

And I'm not entirely convinced that self-destruct continues on an empty ship, I do believe that gets cancelled as well. You cannot, however, board a ship that's locked by another ship.

KM denial is a valid tactic just like anything else. Tonight I was fighting 2x BC and a Heavy Dictor on a a high sec gate in low sec. I I traded shots at all three ships, but the one I pinned down at the end was able to jump into high sec with GCC and commit Concord suicide therefore denying a KM to me.

I of course told him that wasn't a honorable death and he told me they least I didn't get his KM. So we exchanged GF's and that was end of that. Was a valid tactic that was used to deny a KM and while maybe I didn't like it he managed to 1 up me even though I caused the loss of his ship.

Sandboxes are dirty for a reason..

Perhaps he managed to get a session change before you blew up the ship? Maybe he docked or left system which might cause a KM to not be generated.

Because it's target locked. I've been away for about a week so don't know what happened on this kill, but Snake, the reason you couldn't board the ship had nothing to do with the SD timer, which does continue to run you have to deactivate it after you board, but because someone on your side still had the ship locked. You cannot board a ship floating in space if someone has it locked up.
And yes, most T3 pilots will eject right before the ship explodes to avoid losing skillpoints for a subsystem, which is why it's usually a good idea to keep your fingers on the triggers when you're killing one.

Are you seriously claiming a CCP representative "agrees" that you failing hardcore is "a bug"?
